HOW TO PARTICIPATE
We deeply appreciate the interest and commitment of all sectors, organizations, and stakeholders who, from February 10 to February 26, expressed their intention to participate in this key space to advance toward an era beyond fossil fuels.
The registration process confirms the high international expectations surrounding this meeting: a total of 2,608 organizations expressed their interest in participating in this unprecedented Conference, reflecting the growing global commitment to a just and ecological transition. This participation is in addition to the invitation extended to 97 national governments and 30 subnational governments.
Registration figures also demonstrate the regional and multisectoral nature of the call. Nearly 41% of registered participants come from Latin America and the Caribbean, while 33% correspond to organizations or platforms with multiregional or global reach, reaffirming the international dimension of this meeting.
Given that the number of applications exceeds the expected capacity for the high-level segment, it is important to note that interested organizations will be able to participate in the Conference through different modalities. The allocation of badges and accreditations will be carried out in accordance with venue capacity and will be subject to successfully passing the conflict of interest evaluation process.
Types of badges
Two types of credentials will be issued to organizations that have expressed their interest and successfully pass the corresponding evaluation:
Stakeholder-led dialogues badge: Grants exclusive access to chapters and dialogues led by stakeholders.
High-level segment badge: Grants access to both the chapters and stakeholder-led dialogues, as well as to the high-level segment of the Conference.
The request for written input addressed to registered organizations was sent successfully. Registrants may submit their contributions until March 14, while countries and subnational governments will have until March 24.
